New Zealand

Mark has just returned from the fourth shoot for Last Chance to See, with Stephen Fry. This time they were in New Zealand, looking for critically endangered kakapo - the highly charismatic night parrots that have forgotten how to fly. They were incredibly lucky and actually saw and heard kakapo in the wild. The pictures here show one particular male called Sirocco. Mark also managed to photograph a lot of other endangered wildlife, as you can see from these few examples.
