Mark was co-founder of the wildlife tour operator Discover the World, which specialises in safaris, whale watching, shark diving and other activity holidays in unusual natural world destinations. He is now retired as Director. He also co-founded WildOceans, which is the sister company of long-established WildWings, and for several years led tours for the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society.

Nowadays, Mark only has time to lead the occasional wildlife or wildlife-photography tour. Keep an eye on this website for one-off specials. However, he does lecture at the annual Festival of Wildlife, organised by Wildlife Worldwide, which takes place in a different destination each year (in 2010, it will be in the Brazilian Pantanal - click here for more information).

But there is one favourite trip that Mark somehow always makes time for - his annual pilgrimage to the best whale-watching destination in the world, Baja California, on the Pacific coast of Mexico. If you are interested in coming along, please see the link above for more details.
