Mark narrated When Britain Went Wild (BBC4, October 5, 2010), a 90-minute documentary about the growth of environmental awareness in 60s Britain. It explored how the British fell in love with animals and how wildlife protection became an intrinsic part of our culture.

Library footage included writers Gerald Durrell and Gavin Maxwell and new interviews with David Attenborough, Virginia McKenna and Julian Pettifer among others.
